Pandora's Box was an all ages nightclub in the late 60s on the corner of Sunset and Cresent Heights where many Los Angeles legends performed and began to gain notoriety, including The Byrds and The Doors. The club was also the epicenter of the Sunset Strip curfew riots, later dubbed "The Hippie Riots." The protesting occured when Los Angeles implemented strict curfews due to traffic and crime in Hollywood that came from clubs along the strip. This event is recognized for its cultural impact and the music that it inspired.
